The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a personality assessment tool based on Carl Jung's theory of psychological types. It assesses an individual's preferences in four areas:Extraversion vs. Introversion (E/I)
Sensing vs. Intuition (S/N)
Thinking vs. Feeling (T/F)
Judging vs. Perceiving (J/P)
Based on their preferences in these areas, individuals are classified into 16 different personality types.
If you'd like to take an MBTI test, there are many online versions available. Keep in mind, however, that the results of online tests may not be as reliable as those obtained from a qualified practitioner. Additionally, it's important to remember that the MBTI is just one tool for understanding personality and that any single assessment should not be used to define or limit an individual.
