The International Baccalaureate (IB) is a non-profit educational foundation founded in 1968 with the goal of providing a high-quality, internationally recognized education. The IB offers four programs for students aged 3 to 19: the Primary Years Program (PYP), the Middle Years Program (MYP), the Diploma Program (DP), and the Career-related Program (CP). The programs aim to develop students who are not only knowledgeable but also inquirers, thinkers, communicators, risk-takers, knowledgeable, principled, caring, open-minded, well-balanced, and reflective. The IB curriculum is taught in more than 150 countries and is recognized by leading universities around the world.

The International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme is an internationally recognized high school curriculum offered by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). It provides a rigorous, well-rounded education to students aged 16 to 19 and prepares them for success in higher education and beyond.

The DP consists of six subjects, chosen from the following subject groups: studies in language and literature, language acquisition, individuals and societies, sciences, mathematics, and the arts. In addition to these subjects, students must complete the three core requirements of the DP: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), the Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, and Service (CAS).

The DP aims to develop students who are inquirers, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective. The program encourages students to engage with the world and to challenge their own perspectives, helping them to become responsible, globally-minded citizens.

The Career-related Program (CP) is one of the four programs offered by the International Baccalaureate (IB). It is designed for students aged 16 to 19 who are seeking a more vocational education that is still grounded in the values and principles of the IB. The CP is an alternative to the traditional Diploma Program (DP), and provides students with the opportunity to combine their academic studies with practical and career-related experiences.

The CP consists of four components:

A minimum of two Diploma Programme (DP) courses were selected from the DP subject groups.

A career-related study is an academically challenging program of study that leads to a recognized qualification.

A language development program that encourages students to improve their language skills and engage with different cultures.

The CP core includes the three elements that are common to all four IB programs: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS), and Extended Essay (EE).

The CP is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in both their academic and professional lives and to prepare them for the challenges of an ever-changing world.
